Train from Newark Airport:

There are trains from Newark Airport.  You will need up to 15 minutes to get the free tram at the airport to the end stop for the NJ Transit Trains.  

The trip to South Orange takes about 45 minutes with 1 train transfer. 

You will be getting a train at Newark Airport NJ Transit stop for Secaucus Junction where you will change for a train to South Orange. 

At Secaucus Junction get the train to South Orange.  Do not get off at the Orange, East Orange, West Orange or the Mountain Station (which is in South Orange).

Once at the South Orange Train Station you can go downstairs to the Starbucks.
